My Nicole what a ham. She brought home a pgrogress report yesterday and in 4 short weeks turned a C in grammer/writing to an A. I am so proud of her. As of now she has 5 A's and 2 B's. One B is an 89. One point away from an A.

Black friday post.
i do not parcipate in this shopping day unless online. I do not have the patients for the crowds so I have been on ebay hoping to win a few auctions.
work was uneventful. i came home 1.5 hours early.
we had a nice thanksgiving. it was jeff, myself, samantha, nicole, jenna, gerry leclaire and his son jeremy. dinner was great if i do say so myself. i was scheduled to work but called to see if they where busy and they called me off so i got to spend the whole day home (to cook and clean). it was nice being home.
I am doing great in school. I have an A average in both classes and go to sign up for spring classes monday. the girls had great reports too. samantha made the A,B honor roll. NIcole had all A and B with one C in grammer and writing.
My Jenna is the best. She is growing in leaps and bounds except in the hair area but she is still flipping cute as ever. Soo smart!!
I will try to post some new pictures tomorrow. I have the weekend off and we are going to pull out the christmas decorations and put up the tree.
We are waiting the arrival of my dad and my sister vicky. they will be between florida and georgia for the winter and it will be nice to see them. jeffs family is shipping us some venison via my dad and we are excited about that too.

It has been far too long since my last blog so I was reminded a few days ago.
So this one is for you Mrs. Whitman :.)
Did I just make you think of Margie? LOL
I am not sure what to write today so I will just babble on.
I am not feeling to young and springy because my back is hurting very babdly. I hung upside down on my inversion table but not sure that it helped.
Jeff and I went to a Halloween party last night and it was fun. Not Baraga fun like with my favorite witchey poo but it was fun. I drank to much beer thru a straw tho probably another reason I am not feeling so good today. It could also be that I played dukes of hazzard last night too. I am just as young as I used to be and I can't seem to get it thru my thick Mleko head. O, iyi
I need to get up and go blade but I haven't mustard the ambition yet......i know i spelled that wrong but o well life is such.
Anyway, jeff didnt want to be frankinstein so that idea was a bust we bought some ghoul thing from walmart.
My custome was good. I was vampira. It turned out very cool.
The kids are excited about Halloween. we are reusing last years customes to save money. Samantha will be Vampira, her favorite. Nicole is going to be a school witch and Jenna will be Holly Hobbie.
We are all doing good. My job at the hospital is good and I enrolled in college. I am taking Algebra and Human Development. I got an A on both of my fisrt tests ans have test again this week. Wish me well.
The kids are doing good in school and Jeff trying to keep busy but work is slow. Jenna is going to preschool and loves it.

I am not sure about how this is going to look. I need to remember to put pictures first then type the text. Way down below I told about this picture. It is Nicole.
This is Samantha and her daddy. They are two peas in a pod. We were celebrating Samantha's 12th birthday here. The date on the camaera is really wrong. It was March 7, 2007.

This is Jenna!! She is most awesome little sweetie in the south and as sassy as they come~

Ok down below is where I first started my post before I added the pictures

I finally hooked up my new camera and have updated pictures of the kids.

Everything down here has been good except work for Jeff. I try to pray as much as I can that he will get busy again.

School is almost over. I can't believe the school year has gone by so fast.

I really like my new job at the hospital. I have been thinking about going back to school for nursing but I would not do this until fall. I want to spend the summer with my girls. I don't see them alot working the 3-11 shift.

Nicole made her 1st communion yesterday at church. It was a very nice ceremony and she looked beautiful in her white dress.

The 2nd picture is Nicole. We went to Seaworld in Orlando for a field trip. Her daddy is a Dale Jr fan......silly boy, we all know Jimmie Johnson is the best!!!

The first picture is myself and Nicole. I almost didn't post it. I hate pictures of myself but oh well. I am in the process of trying to loss my baby weight....she is almost 3, lol. Hopefully I will have a great after pictures SOON!!

augh!!!! i am so frustrated with this blogging system
i try to login everyday to post and i just cant make it work. well today i outsmarted the program, took a back door and wa la here i am
~lots has changed since my last post.
~jenna's cast is off and her hand is healed, now she just has to not be afraid to use it and her lifetime experiences will be her therapy.
~ i am 2 weeks into my new job at the hospital. i have one week of orientation left and then to my regular shift which will be monday thru friday 2:38-11:08pm
i am still working at publix one weekend day a week but i am not sure how long i will be able to do 48 hours a week. it is not that bad but my house is suffering along with my family time.
~i took this whole weekend off so samantha could have her birthday slumber party. it was fun. she turned twelve 3-7 but grandma was here so we put the party off until now. everyone had a good time. my niece shaylin spent the night friday and then sammy had 3 girls last night and colie had 1. they spent the majority of the time in the pool jamming to the tunes.
~our weather has been great. the kids are in the pool and the nascar race is on. jeff is grilling chicken and hotdogs today.
~his mom and sister were here for 6 weeks and that was nice but they came right when i started back to work and i hardly ever saw them.
~jeff's new business is up and running but now we are just rounding up work. he did get one bid so far but it takes time for permitting and whatnot.
~well i have lost my train of thought and forgot what else i want to say.....par for the course these days.
i am going to end here to find my camera cable to see if i can download some pics.

Hi everyone,
just a quick update before i run out the door to get nicole to school.
Jenna surgery went great. it has been over two weeks. she just got a new cast tuesday and it looked good. two more weeks with this cast and all should be well.
you would never know she had surgery. kids heal so quickly.
i got to run. i will write more later.

Well I am back and I finally was able to change to the new Blooger program.
Lots has changed in our lives since I last posted.
The holidays were great.
Jeff passed his contractor's test and is now a certified building contractor for florida.
We started a new business~ Pro-Mack Construction Company and have a website for it

I took a job at Publix in the produce department to help out with the bills and hopefully get some insurance.
Samantha received straight A's on her second report card and nicole is doing great as well.
Jenna is still our little entertainer and having a great time with grandma who is visiting for 6 weeks with jeff's sister Patti.
My dad is also in town along with my sister vicky.
It has been cold here recently but nice and warm with lots of sun today.
Jenna is having surgery on Tuesday 02/27/07 at the shriner's hospital in Tampa. She fell holding her sister's ceramic piggy bank and sliced the tendon in her pinkie finger in half and the only way to fix is surgery. Please keep her in your prayers.
Well that is all for now. I am going to try and get some new pics posted. I bought a new camera from ebay which was refurbished and i just have got to the part about loading my pictures onto the computer yet but i will!!!

Hi everyone,
Well I can't believe a month has past since I last posted a blog.
Thanksgiving was great! I had dinner at our home for my family along with my sister Suzie, her son Ronnie and his girlfriend Danielle. We also invited Gerry and his son Jeremy. Dinner was very good if I do say so myself and we were all in bed fairly early, full and wore out from a long day and now it is time for Christmas.
I am not far from being ready but I am still working on my cards; I have a package to get out to Jeff's mom; I have no idea what to get my dad and then there is shopping and wrapping for the kids......I do not know what to get for Jeff either. The one thing I know he would like, We can't really afford right now. It will probably be new sneakers and a few t-shirts. That is another days worry but not todays.
Today I am delivering avon books and doing laundry. The girls have early dismissal and then ccd at 2:45-4:415 and then off to youth group at 5:30pm-8pm. Maybe I will shop while they are at youth group.
Jeff and I went to a comedy show this past weekend with Ronnie and Daneille. It was so vey funny!!!! It was "The friends of Bob and Tom tour"!!!! So funny I had a sore throat from laughing and my belly hurt. Everyone needs to laugh like that at least once a month if not more.
Well i guess that is all for now. I just wanted to get something written before Christmas. Hopefully I will have a new camera soon and can add some pictures. I love pictures!!! I have been looking on ebay but havent found one yet in my price range.

Okay at first this spot was empty because I am still figuring this blog stuff out....
Not too much to report but here goes.
First Congrats!! to my cousin Jeremiah and his wife aimee who are expecting number 5!!!
Wow, i am so having a hard time with three I can't even imagine but in my defense they are alot younger than us too.
Jenna is in her room playing right now. She loves having her own room to go and play and nobody can kick her out like her big sisters always do because she is consistently into their things...little sisters, i tell ya!! lol
Last week I moved her out of our room because bedtime was getting too hard. She just wouldn't settle down until really late and then I was being super tired in the mornings and having a hard time getting up so this is working out but I do miss her in there and went and got her last night. Once in awhile is okay until we are all use to it. The other two girls slept with us until they were like 5 and still sneak in on occasion.
Jeff started a new job today. I hope he likes it. He was working for my dad but they are almost done with these last houses and then my dad is retiring his business. We are hoping Jeff has his own license by the first of the year but it will take awhile to get the business up and running so this new job will keep us going until then.
I talked to my dad today and he is heading out to deer camp and it is really cold. I miss the hunting but not the cold. Jeff is not going this year either. It will be weird not to have venison but maybe my dad will bring us some when he comes in January to thaw out for a month or so.
I talked to Jeff's mom yesterday and she is coming in February for 6 weeks. It will be so nice to see her and have that time with her. The kids don't really get very much grandparent time because they both live in Michigan so they will be happy to see both of them.
Well I suppose that is all for now. I need to get up off the computer and go rollerblade. It is 77 degrees right now with a high of 79 expected. We went yesterday morning down by the river for 90 minutes. It was wonderful. I think we put in 11 miles!!!

Okay here is my Nicole. She is first in my bedroom showing off her beautiful smile and then in front of our house and then again but in costume. She was a school girl witch at charm school.
Samantha was a vampiress and Jenna was Holly Hobbie. They were so cute and Jeff and Samantha did a great job with her make-up. We had lots of fun this year!!

Here are some pictures. I decided to do them right now before I go to bed. The last one is Willow when we first got her. She was soo little. The second one is Samantha in her room. She is growing up too fast!! Then comes my busy little Jenna with her daddy Jeff. Next is Jenna again, she loves to perform. I call her my little mini pearl in this one. First is Jeff on a fishing trip in the ocean with our neighbor. Jeff caught 5 Mahi Mahi that day. They were the yummiest fish I have ever eaten. I could only post 5 pictures so I have to go back now and do 1 of colie.

Not so good at this
Well everyone, I guess I am not so good at blogging. In my defense tho I have been very busy. Willow the new puppy is doing great and growing in leaps and bounds. Halloween was fun except for my good camera being stolen during a children's party at a friend's house. I am sooo bummed about this. Anyone who knows me knows my camera is always in hand but I set it down to make the kids into mummies with toilet paper, went back for it to take pictures and waalaa...It was gone. I am not very happy at all.
Halloween is over and I am cleaning, cleaning trying to get my house in order before Christmas hits my busy 2 year old just doesn't stop. I have NEVER encountered a child like this one and I have cared for many children aside from my own......I wouldn't know what to do without her tho!!!
Report cards have come in and the girls are doing great!!! They love school. Nicole received all E's (excellent) and S's (Satisfactory) mostly E's tho.
Samantha had 1 A+, 5 A's and 1 B. This is very good for 6th grade as down here our 6th is like 7th up north. She changes classes, has a locker and a schedule that changes from quarter to quarter but she is excelling which is soo awesome!!
Jeff tried twice for his contractor's test and has to go again. The first time he past part one and the 2nd time he past part 3, now he go back in December to try part 2 again.....Please pray for him. The test is very hard and stressful. Work is slow but we are hoping it will pick up. We are debating if I should get a job until things get better but haven't made a decision yet. I did call on a data entry job tho that I can do at home.
I have been trying to rollerblade everyday. I have been doing really good since the kids are back in school but the scale is not showing any progress yet....I am not giving up tho. I love to skate. I took Jenna today for an hour down by the river. It was beautiful. We are sleeping with the windows open tonight and giving the A.C. a rest. It is supposed to be 52 when we wakeup so tomorrow mornings skate should be great!!
Well, I suppose I wrote enough for now. I will try to do some pictures tomorrow and keep up on this blogging thing :.) In the mean time you can view pictures of us at

We had an eventful weekend. Friday Jeff, Ronnie and I went out for some hot wings and kareoke at Sandy's Grill. They have the best wings in town aside from Jeff's. We had lots of fun.
Then Saturday morning we went to Boca Raton to see our new puppy. She is absolutely adorable and her name is Willow. She is only 7 weeks old. Diana (the volunteer we got her from) brought her to us yesterday afternoon as she had to do a home inspection before we could keep her. As soon as i figure out how to add pictures i will post some of her.
On our way home from Boca we picked up my neice Shaylin and her brother Zack to spend the night with us. Zack turned 6 on the 27th of September so part of his gift is to spend the night with us. We watched a movie, had homemade sloppy joes and they all got to sleep in the family room on the floor. The next day they woke up, had breakfast and then went swimming until it was time to sing Happy birthday and have cake. It was back into the pool again for Zack and Jenna but the older girls helped me with some house work in order to get ready for the puppy.
Willow is going to be very happy with us. The girls are already loving her to death. She met our friend Kris and her daughter Caroline along with Ronnie, tucker (ronnie's dog) and auntie chrissy so poopr littlw willow was very tired by the end of the night with such a busy day for her. Nicole had a hard time falling asleep last night because she must of kissed willow goodnight about 50 different times. Willow would cry little here and there so nicole would come running out to check on her. Finally i told nicole she had to try and get to sleep and that willow would be okay and was omly crying because I am sure she is missing her mommy and siblings. Thankfully this morning she seems to be doing much better.
Well that is all for now. I have to get my butt out for a rollerblade with jenna in the stroller before it gets too hot. The forecast is for 89 degrees today. It is 77 so far at 10:20am.

Hi everyone,
Well I am going to enter a new venture called blogging. I am hoping this will be a great way for me to meet new friends and keep everyone updated on our family.
For those of you who don't know me. My name is Michelle Maki. I am married to Jeff Maki. We have been married for 11 years and together for 16. We have three beautiful girls. Samantha is 11, Nicole is 7 and Jenna is 2. People ask if we are done or going to try for a boy. We are probably done unless God decides we are not.
We are from a little town in the U.P. Of Michigan called Baraga but reside in Vero Beach, Florida where it is nice and warm. We have lived here for 5 years this month but have only been in our new home 3 years which was built by Jeff. Yes, he is a carpenter which is one of the reasons we moved here. You cannot build all year up north. He is currently studying to take his contractor's test on the 18th so please pray for him.
I am blessed enough to be able to stay at home with Jenna everyday so my occupation is that of a home manager. We enjoy this very much. She is such a little charmer but aren't they all.
Samantha is in the 6th grade which is junior high down here and she loves it. She enjoys reading and swimming. She is on the local swim team. She attends CCD at our church on wednesdays after school and then wednesday evenings attends a youth group at a different church where they feature the 24/7 program. She also loves animals of all kinds and wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up.
Nicole is total opposite her big sister whom she calls Sissy. She loves to play with her friends and her dolls. We have just signed her up for brownies and she is excited about that. Colie as we call her is also an animal lover. In fact we are supposed to go pick out a puppy tomorrow afternoon. If you were to ask her what she wants to when she grows up she would probably say a rock star or an actress. She wants a mansion so her daddy doesn't have to work so hard all the time and can play with her more often. Nicole is also attending CCD and preparing for her first penance and then her first communion in May.
And then we have Jenna, what a twisting tornado this one is. She is cute, funny, smart and oh so lovable. Oh and please do not forget SASSY!!!!
She is 26 months and has already conquered potty training no problem over a month ago. Talking has always been her strong suit by far. I would not mind more children but at the moment I am having a hard time keeping keeping up with this one. She has a great sense of balance and dexterity. I could talk all day about Jenna but for now I
will end here. Don't worry you will hear more.
As for me, I love being home with my children. They are my life. I enjoy reading many different subjects and my favorite exercise is rollerblading. I wish for time to do it everyday. I try to be organized, keep a clean home and cook good meals along with some gardening but it doesn't always work that way. Oh well, I don't sweat the small stuff either. As long as we are happy and healthy I am happy.
